I have been in your shoes before. Having an athletic leggings business, I was just starting out in entrepreneurship and not knowing a darn thing about how sales and marketing ACTUALLY WORK. I have an extensive background in tech. I acquired a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science. I then worked in Washington DC doing web design and development for almost 10 years. So naturally when e-commerce started to popularize I said I need to get in on this too. Admittedly, when I was first starting out with my own e-commerce business. I didn’t do a lot of search engine optimization (seo) on the site. I did minimal…adding alt tags to uploaded images, I barely even gave descriptions for my leggings.
